Glover Day, and Beyond

A smattering of photos, not in order, of all the fabulous things we did in our last 6 days in America:
When somebody makes you matching outfits, you know they love you.
Peter keeps us healthy
Flapper:
yes that is an orange sweatshirt. Can you see my hotdog earrings that I picked out of Lillian's grab-bag?
Morning of departure - one last cousin hug with Auntie Joanie:
So sad to say goodbye to "Pahtah and Kiss"
Hands off the ice cream
Best dock ever:

Saturday after Glover Day & Aimee's shower, 4 sisters missed their other 2 sisters but managed to goof off all the same without getting into too much trouble:
Ethel Merman, watch out:
M, M, L & moi

So fun to run in this beautiful cemeter
Visiting Grampie, though they never knew him. Estelle likes his stone, and enjoyed tracing her fingers in the grooves of the engravings.
Best lake ever:

Great view on Perron Hill:Fresh raspberries, homemade dress, sunshine, American flag.
Canoe "ride"
Ben & Jerry's, need we say more?
Danny's 56th bday!

Tata Mary skipping rocks:

Yes that is ketchup on her cheek"Sorry" - (really!)
fishing for whiffleballs

Just give that girl a bat:Or give that girl and organ
auntie "Pahtah"
Tea Party, American Front Porch-style
How many times can we eat hotdogs together in 6 weeks?
Elaine and her dress, transformed on Estelle, and Martha, the creator who did it:
Just a little lemonade for auntie LaLa, you know, one for the road:
The loft at Shadow Lake camp - doesn't get any cozier than that.
Estelle took this photo at Joanie's house:
Uncle Peter is a pretty good substitute for Daddy - his French is almost as good!
Stories, stories....
Heather and Darlene making a break for it.....
Who is this mystery cousin with Rachel? Keep reading and you'll see him again....
Estelle tries to "Dunk the Clown". Needless to say her throw was a bit off.
Estelle is her first Glover Day kids' race, charging down the home stretch in her Birkenstocks and 2001 blue Glover Day shirt with Dad's name in the "in memory of" part. Priceless.
Did someone say "Baby Shower"?
Here's LaLa pointing to Dad's name on HER shirt, with Lauren, Liz & Lena (L cubed).
He's so damn fast, he's a blur: Peter!
Chicken break:
Story time with Auntie LaLa:
Glover Day - Wes survives his first Tour de Glover bike race and Aunt Becky goes for a trot about the village with Joanie....
Rachel on Tyler's deck at the shower later on...
Reading on Joanie's bed
Cousins and running stars, Lauren & Rach
Sewing bee: Dresses for the girls:
Telling stories about???????
4 sisters & Rach around the campfire, on the starriest night I can recall in some time...
Just how many hotdogs did this kid eat in 6 weeks?
A work of art: Alphabetized spices (you can't even see the other cupboard). Guess whose house?
Here's my 3rd cousin once removed, Eric Perron. He is an IRONMAN champion! Can you believe it? I am blood related to an IRONMAN!
Driving to Montreal to the airport: Lizzy, like a true trooper, comes along for the ride:
Here are the Canadian Mounties seeing us off in Montreal:Some wild things are going on in my family since I flew out 6 days ago: ER visits, bike accidents, broken thumbs, prematurely born babies, and 911 calls out of state. Let's hope things settle down for the Alexander Family At Large SOON.
