Weds July 6 - Friday July 8

Wedsnesday we went to visit cousin Elijah at Uncle Edwin and Aunt Sandy's house in Fairfax.

Thursday July 7th in Greensboro: John Gailmor, a VERY well-known Vermont musician and children's performer.
John Gailmor came to my school in 1982. See Estelle up there getting ready to sing with him?
Later Thursday afternoon (after haircuts), Lena and I went to visit my cousin Michelle. Here's Léna with Michelle's daughter Maria.

We are having the GREATEST time ever. The weather has been amazing this week. Up next: Balloons, brothers, B & B's, M & M's, swings (again!) and swims....

Friday July 1st my brother Peter visited and we enjoyed some time with him and his wife and Katie.

Saturday I took Lena to visit my Aunt Elaine in West Glover...


Saturday afternoon, we had a cousin pow-wow....

Saturday night: we went to Lake Parker to my aunt Cecile's to watch the fireworks! Just me and Estelle...

Sunday July 3rd: Uncle Paul comes to visit, with lunch!

Sunday July 3rd, evening: Uncle Cedric comes and builds a BBQ to cook venison, puts up a swing for Lena, fixes the birdfeeder that a bear knocked over, and brings 2 homemade pies. WE LOVE UNCLE CEDRIC!!!!!

Fourth of July! in style!
In the afternoon: watching the parade in Barton. Next to Estelle in white is her 2nd cousin, Barbie Urie.


Previously that morning at the Fairgrounds, a few games....
After the parade, off to Shadow Lake - for patriotic strawberries and much more!

Katie and Lena, below Ernest & Cecile venture to our camp. As they climbed their way back up to the car, Ernest said "Now I understand why the Alexanders were never drinkers!"
Tuesday July 5th - back to Aunt Elaine's to visit with Barbie and Sophia...

Since Tuesday we have gone to Fairfax to visit Ed & Sandy & Elijah, gone to a concert, stopped at the beach, had a haircut, visited my cousin, attended Story Hour, made a fairy house, gone back to Shadow Lake, and Estelle learned to kayak at Seymour Lake.
Busy times!
