The other night I put on Stevie Wonder's Inner Visions from '73 and Estelle came out of her room and just started doing this funk dance that I had never seen. She could have cared less that I was watching. Here's a still shot of it which is lame but it's all I got:

Full splits are no problem for this baby- photos below don't do her justice cause she is right up there with any top cheerleader, a real "T" with right angles -slightly alarming. So much so I didn't get a photo!

Post-nap time today, waiting for Estelle to wake up:
As predicted on the video, tonight, getting her to STAY in bed is proving challenging. It's 10 p.m. and she just came out of her room for the 3rd time - reminiscent of my niece Sara who 25 years ago would chuck her teddy bear down the stairs into my sister's living room to announce that she was about to make an appearance despite the fact that she was to be asleep.
Ah, youth.

Seems like Lena is really doing a lot of jabbering now.
I bet Estelle can do that puzzle.
Lena's giggle reminds me of Estelle's at that age.
Yes, I remember Sara throwing her teddy bear down the stairs to announce that she was about to come down when she was suppose to be in bed. How funny that you remember that!
We watched enough of the video to see that Lena thinks her Daddy is pretty funny! Cute, cute, Cute!
No more nap for Heather because she kept getting out of bed in the evening and going into her brothers' room to play. Giving up naptime was harder on me than it was on her.
Mom totally bribed me to stay in bed with Sesame Street finger puppets around that age. How can you sleep with so much excitement going on?
I love Thomas's resigned little shrug when playing peekaboo!
I have no recollection of bribing Anna to stay in bed with finger puppets. My memory is beginning to go in my old age!

When Lena comes to Vermont, I can teach her some of my former MMU cheerleading moves and splits!! Hee Hee! I love Estelle needing a hug after her nap! How sweet!
