The Old Shadow Lake Camp

Our little cedar cabin on Shadow Lake is the most special place on earth. Thank God my parents bought the land from my Pépé in the 50's and built our humble camp, which carries endless memories for so many people, young and and old.
Here are a ton of photos from the many many days we were at this camp over my 5 week stay in Vermont. They were countless barbeques with different combinations of people, and lots of fun in the water.
Think Mary is singing something? Think you're right.Léna is in my niece Sara's old high chair, still going strong. Below - Lessons in life preservers!

What a great tribute to Shadow. I remember you calling on Day 5 of the heat wave and reporting how many of mother's children had enjoyed the cooling water of Shadow over the past days.

Old Shadow Lake Camp sure has seen a lot of action this summer. Wes took the boys to spend the night there last night.

Great photos. A lot of memories there.

Julie, I just took a deep sigh, thinking how wonderful the summer was, at camp, seeing so many of my family!! Thanks for reminding us all of how special the "Red Shed" is, and how lucky we are to get to see each other!
