Thursday (22nd) was Thomas birthday. So today (Sunday) we made him pancakes:

On his real bday we enjoyed a few bakery-bought tarts:

Estelle was sick as a D-O-G from Wednesday night to Friday a.m. so Thomas' birthday plans got postponed, but we did make it out to a film Friday night - "Deep End", from 1970. New re-mastered version. Starring Jane Asher, former fiancée to Paul McCartney. Pretty cool film.

Anyways, back to the bday: Léna would have preferred cooking some garlic stew:

It's getting a little cooler (in the mornings) and so the girls need to cover up before going to school/Cathy's:

Lavander biscuits:

Bead bonanza:

Playing "fort"

This weekend we played catch-up from Estelle's illness, especially with all the "vomit laundry".
Today was a relaxing Sunday.

Julie, What great photos! Happy Birthday Thomas! I thought you could tell that Estelle looked a little thin and pale, so glad she is back feeling better.
Loved the pics of Lena cooking, for real and pretend. She looks so much older than just this summer.
Love to you all!!

Can't get over how grown up the girls look, especially Lena, since this summer. Their hair has grown so much since then!
Thomas's tarts looked delicious. Glad you were able to celebrate with a movie out, even if it did have to be postponed due to Estelle's illness.
I studied those first two pictures carefully and realize that the girls are playing under Estelle's new loft bed. How cool!
Julie, the girls are looking older and taller by the minute! How adorable that they like to help make pancakes and onion, garlic stew! Love the bakery cakes! Yummy! Thankful that Estelle is well!
Somehow I missed this post. Happy belated Birthday to Thomas!
I think Estelle looks like a young Martha or young Eliza - there's definetly something similar there!
And Lena, just too darn cute! Happy Belated b.day to Thomas - 34 sounds pretty darn good right now!!
Love,
Mary:)
