Junior's Funeral

 Today we went to the funeral for my cousin "Junior" (Leo) Perron, who died suddenly last week in nearby Newport.   He was only 63.

 St,. Mary's Church, so beautiful!

Pallbearers:  my cousin Joanne's second husband Mark Lalime, uncle Dennis Choquette, uncle Ricky Perron, first cousin once removed Michael Mislak (Jeannine's son), my cousin's husband Jody Mislak, first cousin once removed John Grey (Joanne's son).

 The church choir sang many lovely songs:

 Father Charles (Davignon) presided over the ceremony as well.  Here he is with his sister Anita.

Since Junior was a veteran, he was buried with full military honors.  Gun salute, taps on a bugle, folding of the flag, etc....

It was a nice funeral.  The military service was really impressive.
